Evansville made the Postal Service’s 2013 top dog attack city list.

According to USPS, there were 11 dog attacks in the River City in 2013.

The city tied for 30th with Salt Lake City, Richmond, Va. and several others. Houston ranked first with 63 attacks.

Chris Nichols, customer service supervisor at Diamond Valley, said there have already been seven dog attacks in the city this year so they may make the list again next year.

Nichols encourages people to keep dogs in their home when a postal carrier is nearby.
