Evansville Museum to Highlight History of City Theaters

Museum to host exhibit on Evansville's Silver Screens of the Golden Age.
On Tuesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Old Gallery, retired EVSC educator Terry Hughes will present the illustrated program Evansville’s Silver Screens of the Golden Age: Then and Now. This program, presented in partnership with the Vanderburgh County Historical Society, will focus on the major purpose-built motion picture theaters of Evansville, during Hollywood’s Golden Age, roughly 1920 to 1970.
