Evansville Police Investigating Two Stabbings

Evansville Police are investigating two stabbings.
     Evansville Police are investigating two separate stabbings.
      The first happened at 5:00 Tuesday in the 300 block of South New York Avenue.
      The victim says he was stabbed in the back during a robbery attempt in an alley.
      Police are looking for a mixed race man with a medium build, long black hair, and a scar on his forehead.
     He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the Tazmanian Devil on it.
     There were two other black men with him, but there are no descriptions of them.
     Then at about 1:30 Wednesday morning officers were sent to East Iowa near Heidelbach for an assault report.
      A man says he was in a car when he was stabbed in his shoulder and arm.
     His injuries aren't life-threatening.
      No arrests have been made in that case either.
