An Evansville senior uses a project at school to give back to a hospital that helped her family.

Mikayla Wargel presented the Riley Children's Foundation Board of Governors with $600 this morning.
She raised that money with her senior project , Kick for Kids.

The project was to create a new learning experience for herself.
She decided to put on a charity event, a three on three soccer tournament.

Mikayla's older brother Zachary is a former heart patient at Riley and Mikayla says that the hospital was a big help to her family.

Mikayla says that she plans to work on another charity event in the near future.
