Evansville Teen Back Behind Bars After Violently Attacking Several People

Victims say he went into a violent rage, attacking a person who tried to call 911, and officials say he threatened to cut one of the officer's throats.
An Evansville teen is back behind bars after investigators say he violently attacked several people.

18-year-old Harley James Wade was arrested for battery, resisting law enforcement, interfering with reporting a crime and intimidation.

The victims say Wade went into a violent rage Friday night, hurting multiple people, including family members.

One of the victims told police Wade attacked her when she tried to call 911.

Officers say Wade took off before they arrived - but they later found him hiding in a wooded area where he was taken into custody.

Investigators say Wade repeatedly kicked equipment inside the patrol car as he was being taken to jail, and even threatened to cut one of the officer's throats.
Wade is being held on $70,000 bond.

Wade was one of three teens arrested back in 2012 in connection with the killing of an Evansville homeless man.
Those charges were later dropped.
