Evansville Police are looking into a hit and run that sent a pedestrian to the hospital.

A woman reported to officers just after midnight this morning, she was hit by a car in the 1600 block of S. Evans Ave.

She says she was walking down the street, when the vehicle hit her and drove off.

It's not known if she was seriously hurt.
