Eyewitness News Wins Prestigious 'Outstanding News Operation' Award

Eyewitness News has been honored the Associated Press' most prestigious award.

Eyewitness News is proud to announce that the station has been honored with the 2014 Outstanding News Operation award by the Associated Press. It's the organization's most prestigious award that recognizes the work of an entire station.

Eyewitness News also won five other awards at the AP's annual awards ceremony in Indianapolis.

Brad Byrd and John Simpson won first place in Best Enterprise Story.

Jordan Vandenberge and John Simpson won first place in Best News Series.

Ryan McCurdy won first place in Best Sports Videography.

Kayla Moody and Blaine Fentress won first place in Best Community Impact story.

Jennifer Hunt received the AP's award for Best Producer.
