Fans Celebrate Military Appreciation Night at Bosse Field

A packed house during the Evansville Otters game, as it was Military Appreciation Night at Bosse Field. It was standing room only tonight, as the Otters took on the Traverse City Beach Bums.

Rolling Thunder rolled their motorcycles onto the field before the game to honor the service men and women in attendance.

The crowd was also still buzzing tonight after Chad James' no-hitter yesterday, the first ever for the Otters program.

"I love it," said Rick Jones. "I mean it's a rarity when it happens especially for them, Major League Baseball. That's awesome. Oh, it's got to be a morale booster. I mean, my gosh, how do you not be pumped up after a no-hitter?"

The Otters teamed up with the Red Cross earlier today to collect school supplies for military families. Everyone who donated received a free ticket to tonight's game.
