The FDA is receiving heat for approving a new painkiller called Zohydro. It has five times the amount of hydocodone as other prescription drugs such as Vicodin.
A West Virginia senator is introducing a bill to force the FDA to pull its approval of the drug. Indiana's Attorney General Greg Zoeller has also voiced concerns over potential over overuse of the drug.
However, the FDA defends Zohydro, claiming it provides a new way to combat chronic pain.
