34-year-old William Morse of Dawson Springs admitted in court that over a two year period he either destroyed, hid, or delayed the delivery of nearly 45,000 pieces of mail.
These are pictures of that mail, which he kept in his mother's storage unit.
Morse was sentenced to six months in prison and six months of home detention. He also has to pay nearly $15,000 for the postal customers' losses. The lost mail has since been delivered.
