One day before the curtain rises, Tri-State students are working hard to put the finishing touches on their production of "Godspell."

Mostly Henderson County students have been working on the play since mid-May. The ages of the cast range from 14 to 20.

Co-Director Emma Stovall says they've had early mornings and late nights prepping and are ready to show off their work.

"This is a way for all of us to get together," said Stovall, "because we all share what we love which is theater. So, this is a way for everybody to get involved and do what we love and spend our Summer that we absolutely want to do for the rest of our lives."

Performances are scheduled for July 18-20 at the South Middle School auditorium. Stovall says the audience can expect some special effects surprises.
