Republican gubernatorial candidate Hal Heiner and Lieutenant Governor candidate K.C. Crosbie made a stop in Owensboro this afternoon.
Heiner is a former Louisville councilman, while Crosbie spent several years in the Lexington City Council.
Heiner says two of his top priorities are bringing more jobs to the commonwealth and improving the state's schools.
"I see how companies decide to come to Kentucky or pick another state," said Heiner. "Right now, what I'm hearing is we're built on a platform that is an old platform, and we're no longer competitive for the best jobs."
Heiner and Crosbie also made stops in Paducah and Bowling Green today. They kicked off their campaign yesterday in Lexington.
