Help Fund for 2011 Storm Damage has Grown and is Available Now

If your home was damaged in Southern Indiana in the 2011 storms, you could get financial help with repairs.
Still struggling with 2011 storm damage? This might help.
Several charity organizations are teaming up with officials at Purdue University to help people still trying to clean up or fix homes damaged more than 3 years ago when we had severe weather in Southern Indiana.
Officials with Purdue's Extension Office says even if you have already made repairs to your house, you could still be eligible for some kind of reimbursement.
Indiana's Disaster Response Coordinator says they helped as many people as they could following a round of strong storms and tornadoes in May of 2011.
But that money eventually ran out.
Since then, the fund has grown.
If you applied for assistance back then and were turned down they can help.
Those who are still struggling to cover the repair costs just need to contact the Extension Office at 888-398-4636.
Ask for your the Extension in your county.
