A Henderson family is counting their blessings after a fire broke out in their home this afternoon.
We're told the call came in around 1:45 p.m. at a home in the 700 block of O'Grady Street. That's off of US-41 Alternate near the Fine Arts Center.
Officials say due to the heat and humidity it took firefighters more than thirty minutes to put out the flames.
The family is being helped by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it's not considered to be suspicious.
