Hobson Arrested in Vanderburgh County

Former Castle High School teacher and girls basketball coach Beau Hobson now faces charges in Vanderburgh County.

A probable cause affidavit shows investigators allege Hobson had inappropriate sexual contact with a then 16-year-old girl who was a student at Castle. The alleged relationship began in January and continued through April of this year.

Hobson was arrested hours after a felony warrant was issued in Vanderburgh County.

His bond has been set at $100,000.

Former Castle High School teacher and girls basketball coach Beau Hobson now faces charges in Vanderburgh County.

The Vanderburgh County Prosecutor's Office tells Eyewitness News it has just charged Hobson with three counts of child seduction, Class C felonies. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Hobson was arrested yesterday at his home in Princeton by the Warrick County Sheriff's Office on one count of child seduction. Hobson was released after posting bond. His initial court hearing is scheduled for July 28.
