19-year-old Daylyn Jones plead guilty to the charge of attempted fetal homicide. He was accused of crushing up Ibuprofen into a slushy meant for his girlfriend.

A grand jury deemed it a misdemeanor and sentenced him 30 days in jail. Jones will also serve two years probation, 100 hours of community service, and parenting classes.

The Hopkins County attorney says both families were supportive of the outcome.
