Hopkinsville Prison Escapee Captured

Update: Kentucky State Police have captured Troy Lyons, who escaped from Hopkinsville earlier this week.
UPDATE: An escaped inmate from Hopkinsville is back behind bars.
Kentucky State Police say Troy Lyons was arrested late last night in Owensboro.
He's accused of walking away from a work detail at the James E. Bruce Convention Ceeter in Hopkinsville last Saturday.
Kentucky State Police say a tip led them to  a home on E19th Street in Owensboro just after 9:00pm last night.
They say Lyons was arrested without incident.
3 other people in the home were also taken into custody.
Sara Lyons, Dawn Fulkerson and Eric Fulkerson are all charged with hindering prosecution.
All 4 are in the Daviess County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police need your help finding an inmate who escaped from a work release program.

Authorities say 36-year-old Troy Lyons escaped on foot from a work-release program in Hopkinsville. This happened around 11:30 Saturday night. He was in jail on a number of drug and assault charges.

Lyons is described as a white male who is 5-feet 7-inches tall. He weighs 187 pounds. Has brown hair and brown eyes. And was last seen wearing a red and white sweat shirt with blue jeans. He also has a number of obvious tattoos.
   
If you see him, do not try to aprehend him yourself.
