A bill allowing guns in parked cars on Indiana school property now goes to Governor Mike Pence's desk. Both the state Senate and House approved the legislation tonight.

It allows people who possess firearms to  keep them in their locked cars in school parking lots. The bill would also give student members of gun clubs the same right. It also requires law enforcement agencies to fund firearms buy-back programs only with private funds or grants.

State Senator Jim Tomes of Wadesville wrote the legislation.
