Indiana Hunting and Fishing Bill Moves Forward

A bill to give Hoosiers the constitutional right to hunt and fish passes the full Senate 43-4.
A bill to give Hoosiers the constitutional right to hunt and fish passes the full Senate 43-4. The measure would not change the current state rules on fishing or hunting.

Supporters say it will protect future generations of sportsmen and would help control wildlife populations by naming hunting as the preferred way to manage it.

The bill now goes to the House for consideration.
