Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway has asked for a delay on the order for the state to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states.
Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway has asked for a delay on the order for the state to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states.

Conway's office filed the motion for a 90 day stay earlier today in U.S. District Court in Louisville.

The Lexington Herald-Leader newspaper says the federal judge does not plan to issue a stay delaying his order from taking effect, meaning the state would have to figure out rather quickly if it plans to appeal.
