A World War II exhibit is on display at the Evansville Museum, all built using LEGOs. Brickmania is a company that builds objects out of LEGOs, but ones that are not inside LEGO's official product line.

This year display includes replicas of LST 325, the USS Nicholas, Battle of the Bulge, and many more. Dan Siskind from Brickmania says he builds the replicas as a way to teach history in a different way.

"You're seeing a little slice of history built out of LEGOs," said Siskand, "and it's something that kids can relate to. They don't really relate to pictures. Models are okay. We're actually able to show them something in terms of historical subjects in something they can relate to."

Siskind says it took nearly 500 hours just to built LST 325.

The display closes at 5 p.m. this evening and will open for it's final day tomorrow at 11 a.m. Admission to the display is $5.
