Lewis Looking for Continued Success at HCHS

Henderson County finished 9-3 under first year head coach in 2013.
Henderson County head coach Tony Lewis is going into his second year, and he's looking to keep the ball rolling on what he put together in his inaugural season.  The Colonels finished the year at 9-3 under Lewis's new spread offense attack.  Henderson County remains young, giving Lewis hope they're playing from ahead this season as far as learning the spread. Lewis says three players will vie for the starting quarterback job, the front runner being senior Richard Carter.

The Colonels also proved tough on defense.  Henderson County ranked fourth in the state in Class 6A in passing defense giving up only 101 yards per game.

Henderson County opens up their schedule with a rematch against Reitz.  Last year's game was a thriller in Lewis's first trip back to the Reitz Bowl. This year's matchup is at HCHS.
