Little Caesars Love Kitchen Stops Through the Tri-State

Nearly 500 hot pizzas are passed out to Tri-State people in need today. Little Caesars teams up with the Salvation Army to put hundreds of pies in the hands of homeless and needy Tri-Staters.

It's all part of a program called the "Little Caesers Love Kitchen." It's where a big-rig transforms into a kitchen and travels across the country and Canada.

While the truck is from Little Caesars Corporate, the pizzas are all made fresh.

"Their support for this project is what it made possible," said Salvation Army Major David Minks, "and I just want to say my thanks on behalf of all those who have so little, thank you Little Caesars for making a difference in our community."

"We have a lot of customers here," said Tim Orrys of Little Caesars. "If it wasn't for the Evansville area, we wouldn't be in business. So, it's nice to be able to help and give back to the community and serve some people that could use a helping hand."

Today was the second day of a two day event. Yesterday, Little Caesars was at the Evansville Rescue Mission.
