Los Angeles Clippers Owner Ban for Life

The NBA has banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling banned for life over racist comments in recording.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announces Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is banned for life and fined $2.5 million over racist comments in recording. Silver also says he will do everything in his power to help force Sterling to sell the franchise.

In the recordings obtained by TMZ, a man believed to be Sterling is heard scolding his alleged girlfriend about photos she posted to Instagram with African-Americans. Sterling has not commented publicly on the scandal.

Several companies have dropped sponsorship and partnership deals with the Clippers in the wake of the controversy including Adidas, Virgin America, and Carmax.
