Contract Work Doubles After Friday's Macroburst

Contractors are in high demand to rebuild in Evansville after the storm.

(Evansville, IN.) - We're now in the fourth day; since a macroburst swept through the tristate. Contractors are now on the front lines to help repair and restore the areas in Evansville with the most storm damage. Several contractors say their workload has more than doubled since last week. Although the repairs could take weeks; they're very optimistic about the challenge. The Tristate Better Business Bureau says people looking to speed up the process could find themselves at risk of scams. They are reminding residents; if a contractor is from out of state and not licensed in their county they should be on alert.
