Man Pleads Guilty to Two-Decade-Old Murder Investigation

The man accused of killing a Hopkins County woman more than two decades ago enters a plea.

Bradley Day pleaded guilty to second degree manslaughter on Monday. He was accused of killing Sheila Hargrove in 1991.

Day was convicted of first degree manslaughter in 2009, but the State Supreme Court overturned the conviction two years later.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in July. He faces up to eight years in prison.
