The Evansville man shot by police last month is now out of the hospital and booked into the Vanderburgh County jail on several charges, including resisting law enforcement.

44 year old Terry Daugherty is also charged with intimidation with a weapon.

He had been recovering since the incident on Margybeth Avenue when E.P.D. officers were responding to a domestic violence call.

Investigators say Daugherty had two knives and refused to put them down.

One officer fired 2 shots at him.

The police department's investigation cleared the officers of any wrong-doing.
