Massive Fuel Spill in the Ohio River

In Cincinnati, the Coast Guard is responding to a 5,000-8,000 gallon diesel fuel spill in the Ohio River.
In Cincinnati, the Coast Guard is responding to a massive diesel fuel spill in the Ohio River.
Kentucky and Ohio Guards are there now. We're told an 5,000-8,000 gallon diesel spill happened close to midnight, central time.
Duke Energy says it is responsible for spill clean-up, which is already underway.
It's being reported that the drinking water in the immediate area is safe for consumption.
We will continue to follow this story as we learn more about the potential effects, if any,  that may occur downstream from the spill.
