The Metropolitan Evansville Transit System is asking the public for feedback to improve service and ridership.

The Evansville Metropolitan Planning Organization hired Lochmueller Group to perform a comprehensive operations analysis. David Goffinet, director of planning, said METS has not done a study like this since the ‘90s. He said they will assess routes, signs, stops, shelters and buses when designing a five year plan.

There will be two other public meetings. Goffinet said they will likely be near the end of this year and the beginning of next.
