Newburgh Lights Up the Night

The 4th of July may be weeks away, but Newburgh is prepping for its holiday fireworks display by lighting up the night with another fireworks display.
Like so many places around the Tristate, it's a tradition to have fireworks on the 4th of July in Historic Newburgh - but the prep work started Saturday with the Fireworks Rally.

The event featured food, games and live music.

A fireworks show kicked-off at 9:00 in the evening.

Folks could also buy a button for $5.00 that would get them a VIP seat for the 4th of July fireworks show at the Old Lock and Dam in Newburgh.

The Fireworks Rally was sponsored by Heritage Federal Credit Union.
All money raised from the button sales will help pay for the 4th of July fireworks display.
