An off-duty police officer in central Indiana is accused of driving under the influence. He was arrested after a crash Sunday that killed a man and seriously injured his pregnant wife.
41-year-old James Foutch was booked into the Madison County Detention Center last night. Authorities say he slammed into the back of another vehicle outside Lapel, Indiana, shoving it off the road and into a utility pole.
Foutch was off-duty from his job as an Edgewood Police officer. He's being held on a $20,000 bond.
