Officer Suspended for Sending Inappropriate Photos

A Rockport, Indiana Police Officer is suspended for allegedly sending inappropriate photos.

In a letter Eyewitness News obtained Dawn Krantz is off the job without pay for three weeks.
The letter was written by Rockport Mayor Harold Goffinet.

In that letter he says messages and photos Krantz sent in September are in these words "acts unbecoming a law enforcement officer."

We don't know exactly the nature of these messages.
The Spencer County Prosecutor says the messages were not criminal in nature but did not say who they were sent to.

Krantz is also ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.

It's unknown if she plans to appeal her suspension.
