Owensboro City Commissioners are scheduled to take up the proposed smoking ordinance, which has now been amended.

E-cigarettes have been excluded from the bill, which would ban smoking in public places.  The ordinance was formally introduced at the last City Commission meeting on August 5th.  Supporters and opponents spoke out on the plan.  The special session is scheduled for Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM at City Hall.
