Koger tells us the tech giant contacted him about being in a commercial back in January. The commercial, filmed entirely with iPhones, celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Mac computer.
We've profiled Jason many times. He lost his hands in an accident back in 2008. Now, he has two bioinc hands controlled by an app.
Koger is no stranger to the national spotlight. His hands were used in scenes of Hawaii50. Through it all, he says its' easy to remain humble.
"It's all about what other people have done to push me forward," said Koger. "That's why I've gotten to do the cool things that I've gotten to do in the past. And I thought about it one day, Hawaii50, CNN, Apple commercial, you know it's been so many things. It's just unbelievable."
Koger is also planning to give back to the community in a big way. He is hosting a fundraiser for local charities on Saturday, March 1.
It will be held at the Owensboro Events Center at 7 p.m. $10 to get in. Koger says he will have live bands and guest speakers including actor Peter Weller, famous for his role as Robocop.
