Police Arrest Man in his home after High-Speed Motorcycle Chase

An Evansville man is due in court today after Indiana State Police say he led them on a high speed chase.
An Evansville man is due in court today after Indiana State Police say he led them on a high speed chase.
Troopers say 20 year old Jeffery Burch was clocked doing 98 mph on a motorcycle yesterday afternoon.
They clocked him on St. Rd. 57 at Green River Rd.
When troopers tried to stop Burch he accelerated at speeds exceeding 130 mph in an attempt to get away.
Police stopped pursuit at Oak Hill Rd after troopers say Burch started driving through yards in the area.
Later police tracked him down and arrested him in his home.
He faces several charges, including reckless driving and resisting law enforcement.
He's being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
