Update in the crash involving a Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Deputy.
According to the incident report, Deputy Alison Lancaster was in a marked cruiser heading west at the intersection of St. Joe and Diamond Ave, when a pick-up truck turned into the deputies path.
The vehicles collided and the impact caused the deputy's cruiser to hit a Jeep, also traveling down Diamond Avenue.
Deputy Lancaster was not injured.
The driver of the pick-up truck was taken to a hospital for a minor injury. A passenger in the Jeep also was taken to a nearby hospital with complaints of injuries to her head and hand.
The driver of the vehicle that turned into the path of the deputy was cited for failure to yield.
All parties were wearing seat-belts, and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the wreck.
