Evansville's population is growing by about 6,000 over the next few weekends, as the Jehovah's Witness Conference returns to the river city.
This is the 11th consecutive year Evansville has played host to the conference.
This year, the group has added a 3rd weekend to their schedule.
According to the Evansvile Convention and Visitors Bureau, the group pumps nearly 4 million dollars into the local economy.
Plus, with the added weekend this year, that number is expected to be closer to 4 million.
The conference runs each Friday, Saturday and Sunday through August 3rd at the Ford Center.
