The Posey County Fair is serving up a lot fun, and people are getting down and dirty, literally.

The Annual Mud Volleyball Tournament is at the Posey County 4H Fairgrounds tonight. About 50 teams of men and women were involved this year playing on five different muddy courts.

The Mt. Vernon High School volleyball team organized the event and benefit from it.

"The money from this goes towards our booster club," said Mt. Vernon Volleyball Coach Michelle Northrop. "So, we're able to buy t-shirts. We're able to get uniforms, things like that. So, it just helps out our program. And this Posey County 4H has always helped us in that and let us run this. So, we're able to use that towards our team."

Each team had to pay a $40 entry fee to participate. The event is expected to run past midnight.
