One local organization is doing its best to make sure this year's prom will be a memorable one.

Project Princess is making sure young women in the Tri-State look their best for prom.

Teens who can't afford a prom dress were invited to pick out a dress at Evansville's Central Library Sunday afternoon.

Organizers say the young women didn't have to pay a dime for the donated dresses.

The girls just had to prove they were in high school to walk away with a free gown.
Local businesses also donated shoes, accessories, make-up and a hair stylist for prom day.
