A so-called confusing city rule could soon see drastic changes. But the public gets one last chance to weigh-in.

A new and improved Evansville-Vanderburgh County temporary sign ordinance goes before the public April 10, at the Civic Center.

This new version was created after several businesses along West Franklin St. were cited for having signs showing things like lunch specials. Most of those tickets have since been tossed out.

The goal is to modernize current regulations and to make them more clear. That meeting starts at 4 p.m.
