Officers and detectives thanked morning show hosts Johnny Kincaid and Julie Michaels for their service to the community. They've been live from every Coffee with a Cop since it started last year.

WJLT will soon be switching from oldies to 24/7 sports coverage from ESPN. These past few weeks have been filled with many "lasts" for the hosts.

"We had Mike Harvey here Friday for his last appearance in Evansville," said Kincaid. "So, it's just been kind of surreal to be going through all of these things and realizing this is the last time I'm going to be doing this."

"Partnerships been great," said Chief Billy Bolin. "I've known Johnny probably 10 years now. I consider him a friend. We'll stay friends long after he's done with the radio gig."

A date for the switchover has not been announced.

EPD's next Coffee with a Cop is geared towards the kids. It's on a Saturday, July 19, at the Green River Rd. Donut Bank from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
