Thousands descended on the fairgrounds in Vanderburgh County for the fifth night of festivities.
Vanderburgh County Fair President Norman Reibold said they’ve seen record attendance three of the four nights this week. He estimated numbers to reach 12,000 Friday night.
About 18 Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputies are keeping an eye on the crowds. Lt. Tony Carden said they haven’t had any major incidents yet.
Reibold wants folks to remember that dogs are not allowed in the fairgrounds.
