The American Red Cross National Headquarters has issued a nationwide “Call to Action” to help victims of spring severe weather.

The Red Cross is helping people affected by the devastating floods and tornadoes across 11 states.
Red Cross workers are assuring food, water, shelter, clean-up supplies and emotional support are within reach to storm victims.

The local Red Cross is sending two volunteers on May 2 to join other volunteers already working in affected areas.

This storm is still active with heavy rain and flooding all along the East Coast.

If you would like to make a donation to the Red Cross, you can visit www.redcross.org. You can also call 1-800 RED CROSS or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
