Short Police Chase Ends with Wanted Man Behind Bars

A shots fired call leads Evansville police on a short chase, and one man facing several charges.
A shots fired call leads Evansville police on a short chase, and one man facing several charges.
EPD says Keenan Compton was driving a black HHR that was seen speeding away from the 1400 block of Harrelton Drive around 8:00pm Sunday night.
Officers immediately engaged in pursuit.
Police followed the car to the corner of Vann and Sweetser where they say it hit a parked car.
2 passengers were taken into custody, and Compton was found by a K9 unit in the back yard of a home on south Rotherwood Avenue.
Compton already had 2 felony warrants, and now faces criminal recklessness and resisting police charges.
