Shots Fired in Evansville Over Five Dollars

A man offered five dollars for gas for taking him home, but someone else was prepared for fight for that same five dollars.
The fight apparently started over just five dollars, but it ended with an Evansville man behind bars for attempted murder.

It happened in the 1200 block of South Fairlawn Avenue Friday evening.
Investigators say two men drove Randall Singer there from a nearby bar.
Singer went inside and came back out with five dollars for the two men. Officers say that's when Colton McKinley came out and pointed a gun at the two men demanding his money back.
The men returned the money then sped off as McKinley opened fire.
After a brief standoff with police, McKinley was arrested for attempted murder, intimidation with a weapon and criminal recklessness.
