He tried to avoid a sobriety checkpoint but ended up leading authorities on a 20 mile chase before crashing into an abandoned house.
A man is behind bars after Kentucky State Police say he tried to avoid a sobriety check point.

Troopers tell us around 11:00 Friday night, 22-year-old Javarus Webb tried to avoid a checkpoint on HWY 41 by turning onto another road.

We're told Webb didn't stop when a trooper turned on his emergency lights, and led authorities on a 20 mile chase.

Authorities say Webb eventually lost control of his vehicle and crashed into an abandoned house - and then tried to run.

Webb was caught and taken to the Henderson County Jail where he faces a long list of charges.
