More than 700 people sifted through Evansville's parks today in an effort to give them a major face lift.
Nine churches adopted 22 of the city's parks.
Volunteers raked leaves, picked up trash and collected much of the debris left behind by this year's winter storms.
The spring cleaning effort is an annual event.
