Stingy Defense Leads Indy Over Houston 25-3

Colts Improve to 9-5
With Robert Mathis recording his franchise-record 108th sack, the Colts beat Houston 25-3 for their ninth win of the season.  Indianapolis found consistency for the first time in weeks, en route to a season sweep of the Texans in a matchup of AFC South teams.  The Colts, known for struggling in the first half the past six weeks, found the end zone on their first drive when Griff Whalen caught a 14-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Luck.  Whalen, just promoted from the practice squad, scored his first NFL Touchdown, thanks to the pass from his college teammate (both Luck and Whalen played at Stanford).  Running Back Trent Richardson scored the Colts' second TD of the game, and accounted for over
100 total yards.
On defense, Mathis sacked Case Keenum in the third quarter on a play that led to a safety and the final points of the game.
Next up, Indy travels to Kansas City.  The Chiefs clinched a playoff spot with a 56-31 victory over the Raiders on the road.
