The city of Sturgis, Kentucky is ready for its annual invasion.
More than 20,000 bikers are expected to start arriving today for the annual Kentucky Bike Rally, formerly know as Little Sturgis.
The event raises thousands of dollars each year for various charities. There will be several planned rides to take bikers along rural secondary highway around the area.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet issued an awareness reminder.
Motorists are asked to be on the lookout for bikers.
Not just this weekend, but every day, as riders are 30 times more likely to die in a crash than those in cars or other vehicles.
The rally runs through Sunday.
