A Kentucky bill that would've blocked teens from using tanning beds won't become law this year.

The Senate Health and Welfare Committee killed a bill prohibiting people younger than 18 from using tanning beds. The bill passed the House earlier this month.

It also would've required people between 14 and 18 to get permission before using the tanning beds.

The Indiana House approved a ban for people younger than 16 last month.
